Emily George, RN, MPH, DrPH(c)
Emily is a Senior Consultant at Day Health Strategies and brings 15 years of experience in clinical care and education, program design, implementation and health systems strengthening in high and low resource settings. She has extensive experience forging external alliances in the area of healthcare innovation, improving health systems performance, monitoring, evaluating, and scaling evidence-based, equitable solutions, conducting qualitative research, and building and leading high functioning teams. Emily has designed and executed organizational strategies to improve the quality and delivery of care in over 400 health systems across the United States and abroad. Emily’s expertise lies in providing strategic guidance and support to hospital executives and change agents using principles of change management, adult learning, ongoing coaching, and other proven methods for achieving behavior change. Emily holds a Bachelors in Nursing from MidAmerica Nazarene University, a Masters in Public Health and a Certificate for Managing Complex Humanitarian Emergencies from Boston University School of Public Health. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in public health at Boston University with a focus on leadership, management, and policy.
