This show is dedicated to educating you on how to care for culturally diverse communities so we can be better healers. Join host Dr. Raj Sundar on his journey to better understanding patients worldview, to better care for those patients we struggle to help, within the context of their own struggle, and thereby, even ameliorate our own struggle.

Dr. Raj Sundar is a family physician and community organizer. This is an independent project that he created, to become a better healer to the many different communities of Washington. He feels he has fallen short in caring for and healing many of his patients, especially when their values and beliefs seem foreign to me.

Meet the host

Dr. Raj Sundar is a family physician and community organizer currently working as a full-spectrum family medicine physician. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Sundar serves as a Medical Director, where he oversees the care of over 60,000 patients and is the leader of the Health Equity Action Team (HEAT), a group of over 500 members who are committed to promoting healthcare equity through forums and community organizing.
