Matt is a proven legal leader who helps guide companies through the maze that can be the healthcare industry. Matt partners with all areas of a business to advance the goals of the business and make legal an approachable part of the team. Matt was General Counsel for Carium, a virtual care platform company. Matt was responsible for all legal functions in the company and helped to ensure that operations met the requirements of applicable healthcare laws and regulations. Matt worked to find creative solutions when needed and kept an eye on the complications that can come up from working in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Carium, Matt practiced for over a dozen years at a mid-size law firm where Matt advised clients across the healthcare spectrum on healthcare laws and regulations as well as general business matters. Matt is actively involved in the leadership of the American Bar Association Health Law Section and the Health Information Management Systems Society.
