Nursing Informatics Survey Collecting Insight on Electronic Records, Decision Support, Career Advancement
HIMSS conducts its Nursing Informatics Workforce Survey every three years, building upon research that began in 2004. The survey takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete and is open to nurses around the world.
The results of the HIMSS 2020 Nursing Informatics Workforce Survey found that nurse informaticists are the driving force behind the development, implementation and optimization of electronic medical/health records, nursing clinical documentation, point-of-care clinical decision support and computerized practitioner order entry. Complete the Nursing Informatics Workforce Survey to help ascertain nursing informaticists’ role in digital healthcare.
