September is Sepsis Awareness Month
On this episode of The Virtual Shift, host Tom Foley invites Bobby Reddy Jr. PhD, CEO and co-founder of Prenosis, a health tech innovator devoted to ushering in a new era of precision diagnostics in acute care using artificial intelligence and healthcare tailored to your biology. Bobby explains that his company, which started as a device company to measure biomarkers from blood, has since pivoted to become a data company focused on understanding patient biology in hospital settings. After gaining access to a hospital in Champaign, Bobby spent a year observing various hospital environments and concluded that the biggest problem was not the lack of devices but the lack of understanding of patient biology. He compared his company’s mission to the Human Genome Project, aiming to create a comprehensive study of patient biology in acute care settings through the collection and analysis of blood samples and additional measurements.
Bobby was recognized in Time’s TIME100 Health 2025. Hear about the Prenosis Sepsis ImmunoScore™, the first and only FDA-Authorized AI Tool for Sepsis, having both significant diagnostic and predictive power.
