International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth and is led by the International Council of Nurses (ICN). Each year carries a theme and for 2022 it is: “Nurses: A Voice to Lead – Invest in nursing and respect rights to secure global health.”
National Nurses Week is celebrated between May 6, National Nurses Day, and May 12, the birthdate of celebrated nurse Florence Nightingale.
