We’ve all done it. For some of us it may be a weekly or even daily occurrence. Scrolling through your Facebook or Twitter feed you come upon something of interest. From there you find something else, then something else, and another and another. Down the rabbit hole you go only to look up thirty minutes later and ask yourself, “What just happened?” Not to worry, we’ve saved you some time and energy and collected some Twitter accounts we found while traveling down the hole ourselves.
This month’s “research” began during Nurses Week with a tweet from The Boston Children’s Hospital Archives of a 1950s Boston Children’s School of Nursing uniform. From there we found all sorts medical archives accounts tweeting blasts from the past. All of the tweets were interesting, some were adorable, some shocking and some were even gruesome. And so, without further adieu, take advantage of our hard work and please enjoy a potpourri of #histmed, #histsci and #histech tweets.
