Family Medicine Revolution is a social media campaign to create awareness and respect while putting the emphasis back on family medicine, patients, and their communities. Imagined by Jay Lee, MD, MPH, President at California Academy of Family Physicians, Family Medicine Revolution: The Evolution had two personal aims: “Become the physician you wrote about in your personal statement.” and “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” From here, Dr. Lee has created a new third aim for the revolution: “Become the leaders our health care system and nations need us to be.” The new website includes blog posts about Family Medicine, Leadership, Work/Life Balance, and links to relevant Podcasts.
