AHIMA Advocacy Summit 2022

March 28-29, 2022 – A Virtual Event

Given the continued concerns related to COVID-19, they have decided to make the 2022 Advocacy Summit a virtual event. While Washington, DC recently lifted its indoor mask mandate, the Capitol Hill complex is still restricting the number of visitors to the congressional office buildings.  

This member-only two-day event focuses on public policy issues impacting the access, integrity, and connection of health information.

Transforming Health and Healthcare

They are working with their members, other key healthcare professionals, and national healthcare organizations to improve healthcare in this time of incredible change. Their member-only Advocacy Summit is where health information leaders and national policymakers connect to bring about federal legislation and regulations that make a difference.

Their advocacy agenda seeks to transform health and healthcare through information access, integrity, and connection. The first day of this Summit will be the virtual Public Policy Institute, featuring sessions with federal policy makers and other stakeholders on policy issues related to this agenda. On the second day, attendees will meet in video chats with congressional leaders and their staffs about these issues.
