Healthcare organizations will come together this week during NHIT Week to raise awareness and assemble key healthcare constituents to elevate the necessity of advancing health through the best use of information technology.
September 21st was World Alzheimer’s Day and Alzheimer’s Associations all across the globe concentrated their efforts to bring much needed attention to the disease.

We are attending medical conferences where often there isn’t a patient speaker on the dais or in the audience. We are providing a patient voice, and by doing so, are changing the conversation.
In order to honor and raise awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s Health Centers, we celebrate National Health Center Week (NHCW) each August. This year the national campaign runs August 7-13th and the theme is “Celebrating America’s Health Centers: Innovators in Community Health.”
The National Public Health Coalition presents National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) every August to highlight the importance of vaccinations for people of all ages. NIAM was created to encourage all people regardless of age to become up-to-date on their vaccines.
National Men’s Health Month is an observance led by the Men’s Health Network to raise awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys. We followed news throughout June and created a collection of Men’s Health Month 2016 highlights.
June is Men’s Health Month and the week prior to Father’s Day is scheduled to be Men’s Health Week. The Friday of Men’s Health Week is Wear Blue Day, a program designed to raise awareness of men’s health issues within your community while at the same time raising money for Men’s Health Network.
