In honor of mothers and women everywhere, May hosted several awareness celebrations. The Office on Women’s Health (@womenshealth) sponsored National #WomensHealthWeek which kicked off on Mother’s Day with #NationalWomensCheckUpDay happening the day after. National Nurses Week overlapped with #NWHW and we reported on this celebration separately with Our Story – Recapping National Nurses Week 2016. Finally, the first annual International Health and Wellness Week (IHAWW) took place in towns and cities across the globe from May 2-8.
