New on Demand Episodes 7/7/26

July 7, 2026 Posted by Annmarie Budniak New Releases, Our Shows

Each week our radio station adds various new on demand episodes to our library in case you missed these episodes when they played on our radio station. Here are the most recent episodes now on-demand:

When it comes to containing costs in healthcare, everyone has their two cents to give. But what do the real experts have to say? Tune in to Health Cent$ with Adam V. Russo, Esq., CEO and Co-Founder of The Phia Group, the show that gets right to the bottom line. Each week Adam and his guests make sense of it all by sharing their expertise and insights on effective ways to reduce the burden of costs while improving quality outcomes for patients.

On the 7/4 episode Adam continues his special series with Jen McCormick, VP of Consulting at The Phia Group focusing on compliance and legal issues facing self-funded health plans. She identifies fiduciary accountability as the top concern in the industry, noting that litigation has increased significantly since June 2025, with plan sponsors, TPAs, vendors, and consultants being sued for fiduciary breaches related to fee decisions and process documentation.

Digital Health Talks, brought to you by HealthIMPACTLIVE (@HITHealthIMPACT) is a podcast featuring healthcare providers using technology to improve access to healthcare, patient experience, and clinical outcomes. Healthcare Technology leaders address big questions like what technologies are worth investing in today and how will technology change the future of healthcare? Hear how programs in telehealth, healthcare data analytics, cloud, 5G, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and social determinants of health are shaping the future of healthcare.

Healthcare leaders know the pattern. Warning signs appear. Evidence accumulates. Institutions hesitate. And by the time action is taken, the cost, human and financial, is already enormous. Right now, that pattern is playing out across AI deployment, eroding public trust, and simultaneously weakening fragile health systems. On the 7/3 episode, physician-scientist and biostatistician Dr. Barry R. Davis brings a framework health leaders can actually use. Drawing on decades leading landmark prevention trials and his new book The Preventioneers: Diseases, Disasters, and the Discoveries That Changed Our World (Johns Hopkins University Press, May 2026), Dr. Davis breaks down why evidence alone rarely drives action, what trust has to do with it, and what the leaders who successfully broke the cycle actually did differently.

Talking the Walk is all about diving into real conversations that inspire, challenge, and move us forward—no shortcuts, just authentic journeys. Let’s take this first step together and start walking the talk! Join host Tom Testa as he talks to industry leaders as they walk us through the actions and solutions breaking new ground or making an impact.

On the 7/4 episode Tom sits down with Dr. Katherine Schaefer, Director of Innovation at Thomas Jefferson University College of Nursing and co-founder of Fifth Window for a conversation focused on transformational belonging in nursing and the challenges facing the profession. She discusses how current systems unintentionally create exhaustion through poor design, including documentation requirements, staffing ratios, and rushed orientations.

Show rebroadcasts at 8:30am, 4:30pm, and 12:30am ET every weekday.

Tune in to What’s My Tagline? where we put the microphone in front of the healthcare marketing, sales, social media, and PR community. On the show, host Carol Flagg (@carolflagg) questions industry experts relative to their occupations on the impact of social media, the evolving role of content marketing, the critical factor of engagement to build brand loyalty, and more.

On the 7/1 episdoe, Carol welcomes Jared Johnson and Bill Klaproth for a conversation about the evolving role of podcasting in healthcare. Building on a discussion they shared at Swaay Health Live, the three explore what’s working for healthcare brands today, common mistakes organizations still make, and how podcasts continue to grow as a powerful platform for thought leadership, audience engagement, and meaningful industry conversations.

News You Can Use – This show gives you a quick insight into the latest news, twists, turns and debacles going on in healthcare with Dr. Nick and Dr. Craig and where every diagnosis comes with a side of side-splitting humor. Your hosts are Dr Nick a long-time host, innovator and healthcare wizard who can prescribe a digital dose of innovation to cure even the most ailing operational inefficiencies. And Dr. Craig Joseph is the healthcare guru who can diagnose both patient and software glitches with equal precision, making sure hospitals run smoother than a well-oiled robot doc.

On the 7/5 episode the No Surprises Act backfired, while it successfully eliminated surprise patient bills, Practices and Systems now game the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process to get paid more than the original charges, sometimes double. The good news for patients, not so much as these costs are shifting to premiums, health plans are paying dramatically more, with claims over $1 million nearly doubling and industry arbitration win rates dropping below 10%. Hotspots of abuse exist, Nevada leads, and in Tennessee just 147 practices filed 36,000 disputes. Private equity-owned practices leading the way in turning arbitration into a business strategy. In an extension of the “No Surprises” we don’t expect Congress to fix it. Medical facilities are often the largest employers in representatives’ districts, creating a powerful conflict of interest. Solution include aggressive negotiation.

Show rebroadcasts at 4:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 8:00 pm ET weekdays.

Whether it’s healthcare, health IT, strategy, or the “next big thing”, if a topic is trending, Justin is sure to be talking about it with his broad circle of peers.

On the 7/5 episode Justin shares a conversation with Chris Paravate, MBA, PMP, CHCIO, CDH, CPHIMS, EVP, Chief Digital and Information Officer at Northeast Georgia Health System from a recent AI in Action virtual summit. Their discussion focused on, Beyond the AI Strategy: What Healthcare Leaders Should Do in the Next 90 Days.

Health Stealth Radio – Cybersecurity and Privacy have become increasingly complicated not only from a technology perspective but also regarding the purely human responses needed to data breaches. Most healthcare systems don’t care to share insights on how their cybersecurity systems were cracked, and even fewer wish to share how they got their data back whether through sleuth technology or by direct financial negotiations using cryptocurrencies. Join host Frank Cutitta and his guests as they discuss the more covert and edgy aspects of healthcare security that can’t always be found in vendor sales brochures or the enterprise breach response playbooks of CISOs.

On the 7/3 episode Frank welcomes Dave Bailey, EMBA, CISSP, Vice President of Consulting Solutions & Strategy at Clearwater Security, for a wide-ranging conversation on the evolving cybersecurity threat landscape facing U.S. healthcare. Drawing on more than two decades of experience – from U.S. Air Force cyber operations to leading consulting engagements at health systems nationwide – Bailey unpacks the real-world complexities of Zero Trust implementation in clinical environments, the accelerating use of AI in social engineering attacks, and why most healthcare organizations have yet to treat agentic AI governance as the patient safety issue it is. The conversation also tackles shadow AI, quantum readiness, CISO burnout, and the human cost of defending an industry that, as Bailey puts it, conducts care inside an open vault.

Show rebroadcasts at 7:00 am, 3:00 pm and 11:00 pm ET weekdays.
