Day 3: We Say Merci!
It is day three of our 12 Days of Christmas Posts and we say Merci, to these three not French but frequent and dependable contributors to our Health IT Answers news site. We thank them and all our guest contributors who share their knowledge and insights on an array of health IT topics each and every day. We do like this time of year and we couldn’t let the season pass without acknowledging industry experts and bloggers who have contributed.

Matt is a Partner with Mirick O’Connell. He is the chair of the firm’s Health Law Group and a member of the firm’s Business Group. Matt focuses his practice on health law and all areas of corporate transactions. Matt’s health law practice includes advising clients on complying with requirements of HIPAA, the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and other regulations in the context of daily operations, contractual arrangements, and relationships. He is the co-chair of the American Bar Association Health Law Section’s Distance Learning Committee and a Vice-chair of both the Emerging Issues in Health Law Conference Planning Committee and Marketing Committee.
William Hersh, MD, FACMI, FAMIA, FACP is Professor and Chair of the Department of Medical Informatics & Clinical Epidemiology in the School of Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon, USA. Dr. Hersh is a leader and innovator in biomedical informatics both in education and research.
